Closed for Memorial Day
The ReStore and the office will be closed Saturday May 26th and Monday May 28th for Memorial Day. We would like to thank all every veteran and every active duty soldier and individual in military uniform. Thank you for the sacrifice you continue to make every day on our behalf. And for every family who’s lost a soldier due to service to their country — thank you. Thank you for your family member who’s made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. No words can ever express the debt we owe these brave men and women.

Homebuyer Workshops:
August 4th 9 am - 12 noon Byron Martin Technology Center (34th and Avenue Q) Please bring a valid form of picture ID

Volunteer Opportunities:
Lubbock Habitat has many Saturday opportunities for area volunteers. We are working on a new Habitat home which cludes such jobs as sheetrock, painting, landscaping and building fences and sheds.

LISD Byron Martin Technology Center:
2000-2011 Lubbock Habitat partners with the Helen Jones Foundation to sponsor a Habitat home which is built by the students at the L.I.S.D. Byron Martin Technology Center. This current home is the 11th Habitat home built by the trade school students. Students build the shell of the home at the school to learn skills such as framing, roofing and electrical work. The home is later moved to the actual construction location. Not only are these students building a Habitat home for a needy family but they are learning a valuable trade to carry with them after school and earning their school credits as well.
